This means your instrument will need to be adjusted to use these specific strings. These multi-filament synthetic core strings provide the feel of traditional gut strings and also provides stability under temperature and humidity changes.

    I bought these on a really cheap electric violin and they work well; much better than normally pitched strings. They produce a good tone without effects, but with a bit of reverb, overtone and octave displacement they produce an impressive bass sound.
